Ms. James graduated with a BSN from Biola University in 1980. She has been licensed as registered nurse since 1979. She graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1993. She was admitted to the California Bar in 1993. Ms. James holds a BV peer review rating by Martindale-Hubble.

Ms. James' experience as a perinatal nurse gives her special expertise in obstetrical cases involving catastrophic perinatal brain injuries. She is an expert in the analysis of obstetrical and neonatal clinical matters and routinely works with leading experts in the field. She has successfully co-tried birth-injury cases with two of our partners. Ms. James also provides consulting services in nursing issues to health care organizations and agencies.
