David Lucchese is an experienced defense trial attorney with more than 30 years of jury trials in state and federal courts in Northern California. He has defended individual and institutional heath care providers and municipalities. He has tried cases in 13 counties in Northern California, including San Francisco, Santa Clara, Alameda and Contra Costa counties, and in federal courts. He has also arbitrated many high damage cases.

Because of his extensive jury trial experience, Mr. Lucchese is a Diplomate of the American Board of Trial Advocates, which is the highest ranking in ABOTA and is based on trial experience. He is board certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for over 10 years.

He is a specialist in the defense of catastrophic injury cases and has lectured nationally on the management of liability and damages in such cases. Mr. Lucchese is also a national lecturer on the defense of perinatal brain injury cases. He is a diplomate of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and also the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.

He obtained a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1966 and his law degree from the University of California, Davis in 1969.
